Halloween in The Thomas Household

Just about time for another update on the Thomas Family. Halloween just passed and boy was that some hard work. Steve couldn't be of much help, he was busy with his regular daily grind. Let me tell you, getting 4 boys all dressed and ready was a chore in itself. Thank god Auntie Jill decided to spend the day with us and lend a helping hand. We took the kids to a free harvest festival over by the house. Of course our first stop was Starbucks to get a quick caffeine high. They played some games, decorated cupcakes, painted a pumpkin (that they got to take home), and even ate some lunch. All free.....BONUS! They had a lot of fun. When we got home it was Pumpkin Carving Time!!! We put Xavier down for his nap and got busy with the 7 pumpkins we had. Grandpa of course came over to help, he always enjoys doing crafty things with his boys. After we finished with that it was time to wait for dark to fall......the kids weren't very thrilled with the waiting game.

Uncle Steve got here and it was finally time to get them all dressed and ready! Anthony the "Vampire", Eric the "Biker", Jaxson the "skeleton dude", and Xavier the "foster farm chicken". Eric was supposed to be an alien since that was the costume he picked out back in Sept, but after seeing Anthony's old costumes he decided on something different. And then we were off....Load em up and ship em out. We headed to a local church for their annual "Trunk or Treat". Eric was thrilled when he saw a group of real bikers sitting next to their motorcycles. He ran up to one and said "Look I'm a biker too". The man asked if he would like to sit on his bike and take a picture. Eric's face lit up and he was more than just excited. With the help of the man, Eric proudly sat and smiled for Aunt Jill. They made out like bandits with the candy too!

After about an hour of Trunk or Treat, it was time to take Xavier home and then take the older 3 Trick or Treating around the neighborhood. Grandma and Grandpas house was our first stop. We walked around their neighborhood for about an hour and had more candy than we needed. It was only 7:30 but we were done. Thank the Lord. I was done, I was tired, and I was sore. But they had a blast! Here are the pictures!!!
